Career salary

Your benefit entitlement is detailed in your Scheme Booklet. 

If you need a copy, please request one from the Scheme administrator, XPS Administration or log into your account on MyPension.com/LHPS.

Under the Career Salary structure, you earn a new block of pension each year which is based on your pensionable earnings during that year. The blocks are then revalued each year to protect against the effects of inflation.

When you reach your normal retirement date, all the blocks are added together to determine your pension.

While you’re an active member of the Scheme, you’ll be sent a benefit statement each year, which provides details of how your pension is building up.
